These Championships could not happen here if it were not for a superb cooperation with the Pozna\u0144 municipality. The European Bridge League is thankful for Its friendliness and support.<br \/>\nLast week we were pleased to host at the Championships the First Deputy Mayor of Pozna\u0144 Mr J\u0119drzej Solarski. It was his personal involvement that played a crucial role in executing the cooperation agreement between the Polish Bridge Union and the City of Pozna\u0144. During his visit EBL representatives demonstrated how our event works and how it contributes to support businesses in Pozna\u0144 and make this city even more recognisable among people around the world. Mr Solarski was impressed by what he saw and expressed interest in discussing future bridge events in Pozna\u0144. So. the negotiations have started!<br \/>\nMr Solarski\u2019s visit was also an opportunity to thank him and his staff for their friendliness and for hosting the Championships. EBL President Eric Laurant presented to Mr J\u0119drzej Solarski a commemorative EBL Thank You plaque, the highest sign of recognition.
